Who Ya Gonna Call?

It looks like its time to dig out those Ghostbusters DVD’s again just like I did to set yourselves up for the new Ghostbusters videogame! Peter Venkman, Ray Stanz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddmore and even Slimer are back in an all new story written by the original creators – Dan Ackroyd and Harold Ramis.

Once again, Manhattan has been newly overrun with ghosts, supernatural creatures and things that go bump in the night, and its up to you as you are given the role of the new recruit – the fifth ghostbuster joining the original cast. Diving into the action with an array of gadgetry and weapons it’s your task to hunt, fight and catch all the spooks to save New York City from its latest paranormal plague!

Using Terminal Reality’s in house Infernal Engine the graphics and physics in Ghostbusters truly have to be seen to be believed. I’ts worth looking up the original tech demos on Youtube that were published earlier this year to see what I mean. It really does feel like you are that fifth member of Ghostbusters.

I intend to start Ghostbusters as soon as I have finished playing Prototype, which shouldn’t be too long as I only have the last few sections to play.

Ghostbusters feels like it has been in production for an eternity constantly being passed from one publisher to the next and we all have Atari and Terminal Reality to thank for finally bringing this gem to fruition.
