Well thats me around an hour into the new Pokemon Platinum on DS and current reactions are positive. This is the first Pokemon game I've played and I understand now how it appeals to all ages.
From the moment you switch on and setup your character to the point where you catch your first Pokemon everything seems setup to award the smallest acheivement and I must say it does make the game very enjoyable.
This is a short post as I'm only an hour in so I'll update periodically with progress in this great little game. And perhaps when I'm done I'll source the original Pokemon games on the GameBoy and give those a go!
